Fighting Period Poverty
Many girls miss days of school every month, simply due to the lack of sanitary pads. We distribute pads to local schools. In addition, we educate the girls on menstrual health.

Supporting The Most Vulnerable
In extreme circumstances, we provide relief for the most vulnerable in the community.
Examples of this was during famine, where many people's crops had failed due to climate change; as subsistence farmers this had a huge impact. We also provided food relief during the Covid-19 pandemic, where many people we unable to run their local businesses, and therefore were left with no income.
In the past we have also rebuilt houses for elderly members of the community and provided them with food and bedding.
Savings Group
Most members of the local community live hand to mouth. This means that when they need a large sum of money at once, for example to pay a medical bill, or school fees, they struggle.
The savings group allows members to save a little into a communal pot, which they can later borrow from when they need to.
Alongside this we provide training on finance management and entrepreneurship.
Environmental Education
Many people are unaware of the consequences their actions have on the environment, and many cook using firewood. Therefore, the number of trees in the environment has reduced, and as a result landslides and flooding are common in the area.
We educate the children in the importance on preserving the local environment, as well as tree planting.
Mission
As a Christian charity, we want everyone to hear the Good News of Jesus. We hold mission outreach events at Easter, and also hold a Christmas production in the local community.
We also have strong links with the local church, New Life.
